Environmental Education + Advocacy

As an avid outdoorswoman, I have a natural pull toward environmental topics. I am particularly interested in covering stories about citizen science efforts, creative ways of addressing climate change, discovering new species, and increasing access to outdoor education for all. I like to explore how we can use personal stories to inform the greater narrative on protecting wilderness and our shared planet.

I am studying to become a certified naturalist through the Tennessee Naturalist Program. I was the 2017 artist-in-residence at Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve. I am also the co-founder of Wild Wilderness Women and an enthusiastic advocate for and user of iNaturalist.

You can find clips of some of my work from this area below. I’m available for assignments, so please reach out if you have a story you’d like for me to cover! I’d love to collaborate together.
